M\u00fcft\u00fco\u011flu, Osmanl\u0131 \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu\u2019nun \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015f d\u00f6nemiyle Cumhuriyetin kurulu\u015fu aras\u0131ndaki ge\u00e7i\u015f s\u00fcrecinde, T\u00fcrk milletine moral a\u015f\u0131lamak, tarihine ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcne sahip \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak amac\u0131yla bu eseri kaleme alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. <em>\u00c7a\u011flayanlar<\/em>, edebi bir eser olmas\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin duygusal ve manevi y\u00f6nlerini vurgulayan bir manifesto niteli\u011findedir. Kitap, T\u00fcrk tarihinden ve mitolojisinden ilham alan hik\u00e2yeleriyle okuyucuyu hem e\u011flendirir hem de d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcr\u00fcr.
